Metal Oxide Varistors

MOVTPs are radial leaded Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV) that have an integrated thermal element designed to open in the event of the MOV overheating due to prolonged and/or abnormal overvoltages. Eaton’s MOVTPs are offered in 14 mm and 20 mm disc sizes with voltage ratings from 130 Vac to 465 Vac, which comply to the most common distribution voltages. They also offer up to 10 kA surge current ratings and an optional 3rd lead for indication purposes.

The CB61F 6.1 x 2.5 mm fast-acting, surface mount fuses are designed for overcurrent protection of electronic circuits.  The robust construction of the CB61F provides high breaking capacity performance in a small package. The expanded CB61F family is available with nominal current ratings from 2 A to 40 A, providing a range of current ratings that are the highest in its class

(ESD Protection Expansion)

Multilayer Varistors provide highly reliable protection for electronics against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and higher power transients. They are ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces as well as components and circuits sensitive to ESD transients occurring on power supplies, control and signal lines. Chip MLVs are offered from working voltages of 5.5 Vdc up to 200 Vdc and capacitances down to 0.5 pF. with multiple footprints offered.

TVS Diodes (High Power)

High power TVS Diode provide reliable overvoltage protection with very fast response times, low clamping voltage and high peak current capability in a host of electronic equipment. They are available in surface mount and radial or through-hole footprints and utilize silicon avalanche technology for excellent protection against damaging transient surges. The product line has up to 5 kW of peak power dissipation on 10/1000 µs waveforms and 3.5 kA peak current on 8/20 µs waveforms for surface mount packages. The through-hole product family can suppress up to 15 kW peak power on 10/1000 µs waveform and 10 kA peak current on 8/20 µs waveforms.
